Brooklyn Decker is a classic all-American beauty. She's got
the wavy blonde tresses, big blue eyes, flawless skin and California-style
beach body to prove it too. While we're the first to admit that this is more
than enough to earn her babe of the week honors, this model-turned-actress has
much more to offer.
She kicked off her career as a model and unsurprisingly,
success came quickly in that field. Before she knew it, she'd been in 3
consecutive annual issues of Sports Illustrated, even gracing their cover in
2010! She was a complete natural at swimsuit modeling, but she had bigger
dreams to fulfill. She began to do small cameos in shows like 'Chuck,' 'Royal
Pains,' and 'Ugly Betty' while sustaining her rigorous modeling career--which
saw her featured in everything from FHM and Cosmopolitan to Victoria Beckham's
fashion line!
Her feature film debut came in 'Just Go With it,' but now it
appears she's truly making her mark in Hollywood with the upcoming release of
her first lead role ever in the seriously action-packed film 'Battleship.'
Decker plays the female lead, Sam, who is the daughter of
Liam Neeson and girlfriend of Taylor Kitsch in this boardgame-inspired movie.
And even while it's being sold as the ultimate macho experience (the plot does
revolve around a fleet of ships that is forced to engage in battle with an
armada of unknown origins in order to discover and thwart their destructive
goals) it's the ladies who are stealing the show. And between Decker and the
equally gorgeous Rihanna, who can blame us for our fickle attention spans?!
Oh, and did we mention this 24-year-old Goddess is married
to American tennis champion Andy Roddick as well? Some people just have all the
luck.
